In the name of multitasking I present my second look photographed on the same day… and yes it did involve a quick outfit change in a public park because I’m a risky dare devil like that. I’m also a bit of a cheater, the dress isn’t secondhand but the handbag is, that totally counts right?
After the epic wardrobe clear out of January 2014 I found myself with no secondhand garments so I went to my ever faithful stash of Glomesh to bring an outfit to life and make the cut. You’ve got to admit, it’s freaking gorgeous. I personally love it because it’s my first navy piece and it was a gift from my sister, just because. I love “just because” presents, they’re the best.
There is a reason I’m wearing a wrap dress though and it does work in line with the theme. I find wrap dresses are the easiest pieces to sell to a new home, they’re the easiest dress style to buy online and they’re just universally flattering. If you were nervous about buying secondhand clothes online, searching for a great wrap dress would be the way to go because ultimately you’re in control of the fit.
Ok, so back to the awesome handbag, isn’t it beautiful! It’s a deep navy colour that sparkles like sapphires in the sunlight and has golden hardware that keeps it looking chic. Yes, I’m a Glomesh addict. I love how it looks with my simple red statement dress. I didn’t really feel the need to accessorise as I felt there was enough going on with the bold colour, lips and mane of hair.
Harlow sent me this dress when it was first released and it’s had a few outings. I really like it because it’s so easy to wear and I like the cut. I like it better when I remember to wear my seam-free knickers though, a bit of an outfit planning boo boo but that’s the cross I bare for not really thinking through the whole changing-in-public thing… man, my job is fun!
